FPC is dedicated to continuing the dental and other missionary work started by Dr. Jack Heck, a beloved member of this congregation who passed away in 2015 after 30 faithful years of work with the people of this little island, often called “the forgotten Haiti.”
Partnering with W.I.S.H. (West-Indies-Self-Help), FPC will journey to the island of LaGonave March 17-31, 2017. Approximate total costs are $1,600/person for the full two weeks, slightly less for one week. Check back here often and/or talk with Pastor Jason or elder Sue Murvich. Perennial needs for teams include the following, and FPC will gladly receive donations any time:
- Children’s tooth brushes (individually wrapped)
- Adult tooth brushes (individually wrapped)
- Children’s aspirin
- Children’s Tylenol
- Tylenol Extra Strength (500mg)
Please consider giving generously to this mission and continuing the good work done by Dr. Heck and so many others from this congregation and beyond who have ministered in the name of Jesus to and with our brothers and sisters in LaGonave.
